At present, more and more industries use high temperature oil tanks, but how to properly select the medium of high temperature constant temperature oil tank has become a problem.
Generally, the medium of the constant temperature oil tank is usually made of edible oil, cylinder oil, silicone oil or the like. Under normal circumstances, these oil media have very high insulation resistance. When the heating wire is energized, the heat is directly transmitted to the heating medium, but this structure has great safety hazards.

The heating medium such as edible oil and cylinder oil is easily carbonized, and the insulation resistance between the heating wire and the standard constant temperature bath casing is reduced, thereby causing the outer casing to be charged. In particular, dimethyl silicone oil should pay attention to two problems in use: First, the standard problem, dimethyl silicone oil is divided into 50%, 10%, 20%, 300%, etc. according to kinematic viscosity. A variety of types, namely No. 50, No. 10, No. 20, No. 30, No. 30, oil, the larger their number, the greater the viscosity, the low temperature is not easy to evenly constant temperature; the smaller the number, the smaller the viscosity, easy to uniform temperature, but because Its flash point (lighting point) is low and prone to fire;

Second, it has a gelation phenomenon, that is, dimethyl silicone oil is used under high temperature conditions for a long time (above 20 °C), so that the temperature field silicone oil will become thicker and thicker with time, thereby increasing the temperature field lower temperature limit. The uniformity of temperature control is reduced, and it is not easy to maintain constant temperature. Therefore, the dimethyl silicone oil of No. 20-30 is generally used for the constant temperature field of 100-300 °C, and the frequency of use is once a week, not more than 5 hours, so that one year can be guaranteed. Usually pay attention to the viscosity change of the oil in order to update in time. Some manufacturers prefer benzyl silicone oil to dimethicone and have a small viscosity, which is not desirable.
Because benzyl silicone oil will appear in a large amount at around 2 50 °C (so the stirring speed should be accelerated), the volatilization phenomenon of benzene volatilizes, causing du gas to volatilize indoors, causing human breathing when ventilation is not good. Difficulties, the eyes are irritated by tears; therefore, benzyl silicone oil can not be selected as a heating temperature control medium.
