Feed mold poisoning and prevention

Feed spoilage, produce a large number of toxic substances, such as the decomposition of proteins and bacterial toxins. Pigs can cause acute poisoning soon after eating. Long-term, low-level feeding of mildewed feed can also cause chronic poisoning. (1) Symptoms: Initial manifestations are mental anxiety, loss of appetite, flushing of the conjunctiva, dry nose, bruxism, runny nose, and sometimes vomiting; constipation, dry and less frequent bowel movements, hindfoot instability. The condition continues to develop, appetite is abolished, dysphagia is swallowed, abdominal pain is diarrhea, faeces are stinky, and mucus and blood are often present. In more serious cases, the sick pig was lying unconscious, unconscious, in a coma, rapid heartbeat, difficulty in breathing, generalized paralysis, and purple skin on the lower abdomen. The initial body temperature was 40-41c, and the body temperature dropped after the illness. In chronic poisoning, loss of appetite, indigestion, and loss of weight, pregnancy sows often cause miscarriage, and lactating sows have reduced or no milk. (2) Prevention: Feeding pigs with rancidity-impaired feed is not necessary. If the feed is mild and there is no spoilage, other feeds can be fed, especially for green and juicy feeds. (3) Treatment: Take detoxification, invigorate rehydration, symptomatic treatment of gastroenteritis and other measures.
