Prevention of Chicken Respiratory Diseases in Winter

1. Control the temperature of the house and keep the temperature within the house less than 10°C. When the temperature of the white pheasant is high, it is necessary to reduce the temperature. The extreme high temperature days of autumn leeks are rare, and natural or mechanical ventilation can be adopted. When the temperature is low at night, keep warm, close the doors and windows, and block the thief wind. It is possible to artificially create the most stable internal environment with the most stable temperatures.

2. Respiratory diseases are often induced by stress reactions. Therefore, when adopting technical management measures with stress response, the intensity of reaction should be minimized and the duration of the reaction should be shortened. (1) Avoid superimposing stress, such as immunization and debridement. (2) Select a method with a small stress response. If the vaccination is effective, it can be taken without drinking water. (3) Add anti-stress drugs to the feed water.

3. Do a good job of immunizing against certain diseases. First of all, we must do immunosuppression diseases such as IBD, CIA, MD and other diseases, so that the body is always in a state of high health and anti-infection. Second, we must do a good job of respiratory diseases such as IB, ILT, CRD and other diseases of the immune work, so that the body always maintain a high degree of immunity against respiratory diseases.

4. Strengthen biosecurity measures and strengthen environmental disinfection. Maintain environmental hygiene inside and outside the home, and prohibit irrelevant personnel from entering the house. Work clothes, utensils and other regular cleaning and disinfection.

5. Timely treatment after onset. If it is a viral disease, it can be treated with drugs such as Ribavirin, Viral Ling, and Amantadine. In the case of bacteria or mycoplasma, erythromycin, tylosin, azithromycin, enrofloxacin and other drugs can be used for treatment. At the same time as treatment, it is necessary to strengthen management and prevent the use of drugs for those who are not affected.
