Raw materials → selection → cleaning → removal → drying → crushing → sieving → sterilization → weighing → packaging → finished products.

Second, processing technology

1. Raw material processing. High-quality raw materials kelp purchased from the market should be dark brown or dark green. Selected to remove impurities, roots and other algae, remove the yellow and white side of kelp. After washing, dip in clean water with an effective chlorine concentration of 2 ml/m 3 for 23 hours to remove salt and soften it.

2. Dislocated. The kelp was immersed in 2% aqueous citric acid for 510 hours to remove the odor of kelp. Then rinse twice with fresh water to remove residual acid and drain it.

3. Dry. The drained kelp is placed in a dryer and dried for about 4 hours. Using a piecewise drying process, the drying temperature and time for each stage were: first stage 4555°C, 1 hour. Second stage 5565°C, 45 minutes; Third stage 6575°C, 45 minutes; Fourth stage 7585°C, 1.5 hours, promptly remove the wet steam from the dryer to increase the drying efficiency and control the final moisture of the kelp to 14 Within %.

4. Smash and sieve. Pulverizer and sifting directly. For example, as an iodine-containing tablet, a particle size of 50% or more can pass through a standard 80-mesh sieve; if it is used as a food additive, it must pass through a standard 80-mesh sieve to achieve a satisfactory taste.

5. Sterilization. Laminating the kelp powder into a thin layer, placing it under a UV lamp at a distance of no more than 2 meters, and sterilizing it for 12 hours. The room must be kept dry to prevent the product from absorbing moisture.

6. Weigh the package. Weigh the package according to the customer's requirements, the inner layer is generally sealed with polyethylene plastic bag, and the outer layer is sealed with composite aluminum foil bag.
