Multi-layer bed cultivation technology of garlic

In winter and spring, garlic seedlings are cultivated on a multi-layered frame in a greenhouse or plastic shed to not only fully regulate and compensate for the supply of off-season vegetables, but also greatly increase land use efficiency and achieve higher economic benefits. Each square meter of greenhouse can produce 800kg of garlic sprouts. . The technology is now described as follows:


One, bed set up

Set up the bed with wooden poles, straw, old plastic film, iron wire and red brick. There are only two shelves in the front and back of the greenhouse, and three floors in the middle. A single brick is used to build a wall with a height of 10 cm, and the wall spacing is 1.2-1.6 m. Then, a wooden bed is used to form a rack bed with a width of 1 to 3 m and an unlimited length. The distance between wood poles is 20-30 cm. On the basis of the first floor, a bed with a height of 80 to 100 cm from the first floor is abducted into 1 m wide beds with wooden poles. In the 60cm height from the second floor with a wooden pole abducted into 80 ~ 90cm wide bed. Each layer is covered with a layer of old plastic film. The film is covered with 6cm thick sandy loam soil and the soil is photographed. During the erection of the bed, it must be tightly fastened so that it will not fall during the growth of garlic sprouts.


Second, cultivation and management

1. The choice of garlic. Choose a variety of large head flaps, high yield, short dormancy, and rapid emergence.

2. Stewed garlic bulbs. The garlic was soaked in water at 20°C for 30 hours to allow the garlic to swell. After removing the drain, it is a little boring and then the stem plate is cut off. If the amount of seed soaked is large, it may not be dug.

3. Put garlic pressure sand. Place 15kg of garlic per square meter. Place it as tightly as possible. The space is filled with loose cloves. After finishing the garlic seedlings, cover 3cm thick fine sand and shoot it. Shoot it once every 3 days.

4. Moisture management. The garlic sprouts were poured with water at a temperature not lower than 15°C. In the early stage of growth (after planting garlic), pour in plenty of water, in the middle stage of growth (15 to 16 cm in height), pour in water, and in the late stage of growth (3 to 4 days before harvest), pour in small water. The number of waterings depends on the dry and wet conditions of the soil on the bed.


5. Temperature management. To keep the film surface clean, improve light transmission, and strive for more hours of light. Bed temperature control is: after planting garlic, during the day is 24 ~ 26 °C, at night 20 ~ 22 °C; after Qimiao, daytime 22 ~ 24 °C, night 18 ~ 22 °C; seedling height 15cm, during the day 20 ~ 22 °C, 16-18% at night; at harvest, 18% during the day and 12% at night.


Third, timely harvest

When the garlic grows to 35cm and the leaves are slightly tilted, they should be harvested in time. After 20 days of harvesting, the garlic seedlings can grow new seedlings. When the garlic seedlings grow to 30 cm, they can be harvested again.
