The taboo season of quail egg hatching

As we enter the month of July, the hatching and survival rates of Golden Dragonfly eggs have dropped dramatically, falling below 10% of normal levels. In some cases, there is almost no yield at all, and even when some eggs do hatch, they can cause allergic reactions in those handling them. The reasons behind this decline are as follows: First, the incubation period for Golden Eagle eggs typically lasts around 280 days. By July, the quail eggs—often used as a substitute or companion species—have already begun to show signs of decline. These eggs are more vulnerable during the incubation process and are more likely to be lost due to environmental stress. Second, the lifespan of quail eggs during this time is significantly reduced. Their ability to adapt to changing conditions is weak, and even if a few larvae manage to hatch, they struggle to survive. These young are often weak, prone to illness, and unable to cope with fluctuations in temperature or humidity. Third, July marks the peak of the high-temperature season, which creates ideal conditions for the growth of fungi and mites on egg branches. Direct or indirect contact with these contaminants can lead to allergic reactions. Affected individuals may experience itchy skin, redness, or even facial flushing. In severe cases, systemic symptoms such as dizziness or respiratory issues can occur. Even if a small number of eggs manage to hatch, the combination of high temperatures and rainy weather makes survival extremely difficult. Given these challenges, it's strongly advised that farmers and hobbyists avoid purchasing egg sticks after July and refrain from attempting to hatch them. Be cautious of misleading claims by some individuals who promise successful hatching well into October. Such promises are not based on scientific evidence and could lead to significant financial losses. Taking a careful and informed approach now can help prevent unnecessary setbacks in the future.
