British “mobile nurse” helps monitor patients' condition

British t+Medical has launched a new mobile phone software to track the condition of chronically ill patients in real time, which is expected to save a lot of medical expenses while improving the treatment effect.
This phone software can be installed on a regular phone. Patients with chronic diseases such as asthma, diabetes, and high blood pressure only need to enter their physical condition and treatment on their mobile phones, and the data can be automatically transmitted to the hospital database. A nurse will then analyze the data to determine if appropriate treatment should be taken. The software can help the hospital monitor complications before the patient's condition worsens, and the patient does not have to go to the hospital frequently for examination. Another version of the software monitors the side effects of chemotherapy, and doctors can adjust the chemotherapy regimen accordingly. This software has been adopted by eight medical institutions in the UK.
This software helps reduce the amount of consultations that require 90% of patients who are on long-term medical care. Save millions of pounds a year on the national health care system.
