Third, hit the bottom leaves. At the late stage of corn growth, the bottom leaves are aging, yellow or susceptible, and have lost their function. They must be promptly removed and cleaned to increase the ventilation and light transmission in the fields to reduce disease infestation.
Fourth, in addition to "Umi." Maize "Umi" is a head smut, and the damage to the ear of corn is not solid and it becomes "grey." In the field, it is necessary to conduct a comprehensive inspection. If it is found that Umi has to remove the field together with the corn plants before it breaks the palladium, it should be properly handled and no feed or manure should be used to prevent the disease from re-infecting.
Fifth, put Qiu ridge. Put Qiu ridge in the late stage of corn grouting. After the autumn, the weeds in the fields are prosperous, and the time of the seed production period is the time when the autumn ridges are used to cut off the weeds in the field. This is not only beneficial to the corn of the year, but also very important for reducing the grass damage in the next year. It is necessary to manually remove the big grass, "plough" and other methods to eliminate the weeds. Put Qiu ridge to be shallow, to loosen the soil, increase ground temperature, eliminate weeds, promote early maturation, and increase yield. When doing so, prevent excessive rooting and breaking leaves.
Six, off the "dry bar". Each of the filaments on the corn ear forms a corn kernel after insemination. This is because the filaments in the lower part of the corn cobs are the first to extract out of the glutinous rice leaves and are easy to pollinate. Therefore, there are few defects in the lower part of the corn cobs. Therefore, the filaments on the upper part of the corn cobs are finally drawn out, and the firstly extracted filaments have been inseminated. , gradually began to wilt (dry bar), so that the filaments drawn out later were covered by these "dry bar", not easy to accept pollen, can not be strong. Cutting off the "dry barley" can increase the seed-setting rate of corn and increase the yield. According to tests, cutting a "dry bark" can reduce baldness by 50%; cutting two or three times can basically eliminate baldness. The time for cutting silk should be after the corn silk insemination withered. The method is to gently lift the filaments by hand, and then use scissors to cut the withered filaments. At the same time leaving young and fresh filaments, making it a spout shape, so that the fertilization of the filaments continue to insemination firm.
