A biotechnology research and development institution in central Israel recently announced a new scientific research achievement—a fast-growing gene tree.
The growth rate of this tree is twice the natural growth rate of ordinary trees. Scientists aim to increase the growth rate of trees by modifying the sequence of tree genes. This new type of high-speed growth gene tree will be first applied to the paper industry.
