This year it is produced in Shandong and Hebei. The good quality of corn has attracted corn traders and feed companies in the south, especially Guangdong and Guangxi, to actively purchase.

Last year, Henan, Shandong, and Hebei provinces had a bumper harvest of corn, but there was more rain before and after harvest, which led to more widespread mildew in corn. The sales of corn in the northeast increased significantly and prices remained high for a long time. Driven by this, knowing that corn quality is poor, many traders and grain stores in Henan, Hebei, and other places have acquired and accumulated a large amount of corn.

In the middle and late September of this year, the new corn is approaching harvest. Under the situation where the price of corn has been rising and falling, the corn traders everywhere are seeing no hope of rising prices, and they are concentrating on throwing corn out of their hands. The price of corn in the Mainland will soon rise from RMB 2400/ Ton fell to 2,120 yuan / ton, of which Henan, some of the poor quality of corn outbound price is only 2060 yuan / ton. However, because of the poor quality, the sale of low-priced domestic real estate corn has not improved, and the market share of corn has been occupied by corn produced in the northeast.

Wang Jun, a corn trader in Xinxiang, Henan Province, told reporters that there is a large demand for corn in Guangzhou and other places. His company has to ship 1,000 tons of corn a day to meet customer requirements. After corn sales improved, the current price of corn in northern Henan has increased significantly. The price of newly-produced corn in some areas has increased from 2,030-2,080 yuan/ton in early October to 2,120-2,140 yuan/ton. In spite of this, compared with northeastern corn, the current price advantage of Henan corn is still quite obvious, and the newly-produced corn in the mainland is gradually recovering the market share occupied by northeastern corn.

“Now is a good time for the mainland corn to seize the market.” Zhao Xunzhang believes that the Northeast corn price is not only high, but the inventory is not large, can not effectively guarantee the supply, and the new season corn harvest has not yet completely ended, plus the Northeast With more rain and cool weather, it is conservatively estimated that there is still one to two months of gold sales time in real estate corn.

At present, farmers in Henan, Hebei, and Shandong are sowing wheat, which to a certain extent has affected the number of new corn to be listed. Han Jingxuan, manager of grain storage at the Liyang City in Henan Province, said that the current price of corn has not yet reached the expectations of farmers, and reluctant sellers are still widespread, and the sales situation has improved. It is estimated that there is still room for further increase in the price of corn in the Mainland.
