First, fix the pig house
In winter, the weather is cold. In order to improve the warmth of the pig house, the pig house should be repaired before the cold season to repair damaged walls, roofs, doors, windows, vents and other facilities. If it is an open-type pig house, you need to install plastic insulation film or other insulation facilities. Second, improve the pig house temperature
There is no temperature to keep the light warm, nor is it necessary to install heating facilities in winter. Third, ensure the clean air of the house
Due to the importance of keeping warm in winter, ventilation may be reduced. This is not acceptable. If pig-breeding technology is used, fermentation of feces will produce water vapor, carbon dioxide, and ammonia gas. If these gases are not discharged smoothly, some problems will arise. The accumulation of water vapor causes the fermentation bed to become too wet, leading to anaerobic fermentation and dead beds. Accumulation of carbon dioxide and ammonia can have some adverse effects on the respiratory tract of pigs, and can easily cause respiratory diseases. Therefore, we must pay attention to keeping warm in the winter and we must also pay attention to it. Ventilation can be ventilated when the weather is relatively warm in the afternoon at noon. Note that the vents should not be directed toward the pigs. It is best to discharge the air in a relatively gentle manner.
Fourth, change feed ingredients and feeding methods
In winter, it is particularly important to provide a complete diet for pigs due to the rapid depletion of pigs. According to their own actual conditions, a reasonable choice of pigs used in various ages premix. And in order to avoid cold stress in the herd, the frozen feed must not be used when feeding, dry powder can be used or fed with warm water, and the condition can also provide warm water to the pigs for drinking.
