Eating vegetarian food will affect women's fertility

In recent years, the vegetarian diet has gradually become popular. In particular, women who are relatively full-bodied have even taken vegetarianism as a habit, hoping to achieve weight loss. It is undeniable that eating more fiber-rich foods such as vegetarian foods, vegetables, fruits, and the like can indeed help lose weight. However, recent studies in the medical community on vegetarianism have confirmed that women often eat vegetarian foods, which can cause devastating effects on hormone secretion in the body, and may even lead to infertility.

Among the many studies that influenced vegetarianism in women, the conclusion of Masbourne College in Munich, Germany, was the most compelling. Professor Karpak of the school divided healthy girls who participated in the trial into two groups, one of which was full of vegetarian food except for a small amount of cheese and milk; the other group consumed normal food. After the six-week weight-loss program was completed, the researchers found that 78% of the women who ate vegetarian diets had physiological phenomena of cessation of ovulation, and almost all groups had shorter menstrual cycles than normal. However, in the normal diet group, 67% of women had normal ovulation and no significant changes in the menstrual cycle.

Professor Karpak analyzed that the vegetative status of a group of vegetarian women was the same as the food they ate in the condition that the weights of the two groups of testers both decreased by the same extent and that they had the same amount of exercise. Containing too little protein, leading to abnormal hormone secretion, menstrual cycle disorders. In this way, she reasoned that vegetarianism can lead to abnormal reproductive function and even severely affect reproductive ability.

Professor Karberk pointed out that if women are unwilling to influence fertility, they must think twice before going vegetarian to lose weight, especially for women over the age of 30, and fertility itself has fallen, and it is even more cautious.
