Morphological Characteristics:

Origin and Distribution:
Native to regions in China, this plant thrives in the northwest, northeast, northern, and central parts of the country. It is well-suited for temperate climates and can tolerate a range of environmental conditions.
Growth Habits:
Worcester Gold prefers full sun but can also tolerate partial shade. It is highly drought- and heat-resistant, and can survive in areas where winter temperatures drop as low as -20°C. One notable characteristic is its color change: the more sunlight it receives, the more vibrant the golden foliage becomes. However, prolonged exposure to semi-shade can cause the leaves to turn yellowish-green. It's important to note that this plant is sensitive to overwatering.
