Organize printers to create realistic human ears

The outer contour of this newly printed ear may look complicated, but it is already quite simple compared to its internal structure. The 3D printing system that created it is called the Integrated Tissue Organizer (ITOP), which stitches artificially made parts of the body with living cells, a study published in the online edition of Natural Biotechnology. Researchers have used live cells to print, but until now, they have only made small gelatinous living materials, on the one hand because large structures are prone to collapse, and on the other because internal cells are prone to death due to lack of oxygen. . Thanks to two innovations, ITOP can create life-size parts of the body where cells can survive and thrive. First, it binds a slimy, cell-friendly gel to a harder substance that provides structural support. Second, it leaves a tiny passage for oxygen to enter so that the cells in the middle do not suffocate. When the researchers transplanted the bone, muscle and cartilage produced by the ITOP into rats and mice, these printed tissues developed a blood supply and an internal structure similar to natural tissue. Researchers are currently working with the US Food and Drug Administration to conduct human trials with the ultimate goal of creating replaceable body parts for people in need.

Walking Transplanter

Rice Transplanter is a kind of agricultural machinery for planting rice seedlings in rice fields. When planting, first take out several rice seedlings from the seedbed with mechanical claws and plant them into the soil in the field. In order to keep the angle between the seedbed and the ground at right angles, the front end of the mechanical claws must adopt an elliptical action curve when moving. The action is accomplished by means of a planetary mechanism of rotating or deforming gears, and the forward engine can drive these action machines at the same time. The rice transplanter must have non-slip wheels and floating design to travel on the soil. If the transplanted seedlings are in pieces, the rice seedlings are taken out from a specific seedling box and planted mechanically.
