Sesame powder production method

Sesame is used as a raw material and processed into sesame powder that is ideal for use in cake, noodle, and bread production. The process begins by baking the raw sesame seeds at a temperature ranging from 150 to 200°C. This step helps to enhance the flavor and make the oil more accessible. After baking, the sesame seeds are fed into an oil press, where approximately 70% to 80% of the oil is extracted. The remaining residue, which contains about 20% to 30% of the original oil, is then crushed and conditioned to achieve a finer texture. The detailed procedure involves selecting high-quality raw sesame seeds, followed by thorough mixing, washing, and drying. Once dried, the seeds are fed into the oil press, where the oil is squeezed out efficiently. After this, the remaining sesame residue is frozen and then crushed into a fine powder with a particle size of 0.104 mm or smaller. This finely ground sesame powder is particularly suitable for noodle processing, as it enhances both the texture and flavor of the final product. The entire process ensures a high-quality, nutritious, and versatile sesame powder that can be used in various food applications.
